About you
The basics a recruiter needs to contact you. Use your name exactly as it appears on your passport — a mismatch between your CV, your passport and your registration certificate causes real delays later.
Deliberately not asked: photograph, date of birth, marital status, father’s or husband’s name, religion and caste. Employers in Australia and New Zealand do not expect them and in many cases cannot take them into account. If a UAE advert asks for them specifically, add them to the file afterwards.
Before you send it
A builder can lay a CV out correctly; it cannot tell you whether what you wrote is convincing. Run through the checklist on the templates page before you send anything, and check every date and registration number against the actual certificate rather than from memory.
